Do you allow video to be put into a movie?

This feature is not currently available, but will be coming soon.

What is the policy for inappropriate content?

Generally, we want our technology used to create movies that grandma wouldn't be embarrassed to watch, that might be seen on primetime TV. We adhere to copyright law, and ask that you do the same by not including in your movies images that you do not have the right to use. The bottom line? We reserve the right to refuse production of any movie we deem inappropriate, or that infringes copyrights.

Can I add soundtracks to my movie besides those I am offered?

Because of licensing issues, this is not possible. We respect musicians and others that require a license to use their music in movies, streaming video and other media productions.

May I make copies of the DVDs I purchase?

You may not copy DVDs you purchase through aVinci Media — the licensing fees that we pay to use the music, support images and videos in the movie, make it illegal to copy DVDs without going through the usual purchase process. Depending on the product you purchase, you may be given the option to purchase additional copies when you make your movie, and sometimes after you submit your order.
